DC Comics OC: Ethan Scott aka Lucky Harlequin

Another OC, inspired by the stories of the original Green Lantern.

Ethan Scott is the son of Alan Scott, the original Green Lantern of Earth, with his former nemesis, now wife, Molly Mayne-Scott aka the Harlequin; the boy was conceived after the couple had their bodies turned back to their prime years. Despite being in a superhero family, Ethan had a mostly normal childhood up until his 10th birthday, when his metahuman powers began to manifest. Like his older sister, Jennifer aka Jade, his powers are similar to the Green Lantern Corps due to his father's exposure to the Starheart, causing his skin and the sclera of his eyes to turn green. Ethan learned from his sister to use the power pulse to make his appearence look like it used to, in order to not draw attention to himself.

His costume was made by his mother once he turns 12 years old, Ethan wanted it to reference both his parents in some way. The "Lucky" part of his hero alias is in reference to Starheart's history of bringing "luck and fortune" to those of good heart.

Phew! Here he is. I absolutely loved Alan and Molly's history and relationship, too bad the two never had a child in canon, it would be sweet to see Jade and Obsidian having a younger stepsibling. Well, I tried my hand on it and created Ethan! He's a mischievous brat who loves poking fun at others, but has an unbreakable love for his family. He loves listening to their superhero stories and hopes to go on a great adventure like them someday, which concerns his parents because he still has a naive view of what a superhero faces. Luckily Ethan has his family to keep him grounded.

Btw, what could be shipping name for Green Lantern/Harlequin???
